When I ponder on the topic of social responsibility, the first thing that comes to mind is the concept of community and taking care of your neighbor. I grew up in a close-knit community that was oriented around service. Not just what you could do for someone else but what you could do that would truly be helpful or valuable for that individual. This notion was continued through high school where Service Learning was integrated as part of the core curriculum and a requirement for graduation. Again, it popped up in my undergraduate years, coupled with research, and action items to implement change within our various communities. Over the years it became second nature and I continue to find myself looking for meaningful opportunities to serve others. I believe this should be the aim of all businesses. As I worked on the concept of healthCAREuphoria I wanted this company to be a clear reflection of more than just who I am as a person and professional. It is my intention for healthCAREuphoria to be a consumer-focused company that serves the communities we’re based in. I live, work, and raise my own family here in the state of Texas. I’ve grown all too familiar with the struggles we face and have resolved to be a part of the solution, especially to improve the quality of healthcare coverage. I also wanted healthCAREuphoria to be an opportunity center for individuals looking to grow and work within the healthcare industry. When I think back to my years in high school I often consider how “lucky” I was. That someone, somewhere, thought it meaningful to bring a healthcare program to the west side, to a subpar high school. From that first cohort of 25, all but 2 of us made it into healthcare. healthCAREuphoria aims to have a similar impact as we recruit paid interns from our area high schools and offer continued employment upon graduation. It is our goal to grow and support upcoming healthcare professionals from within our Texas communities.

As we expand our client network throughout the great state of Texas we hope to align with likeminded companies who see the value of extending quality healthcare to its members and quality care to its communities.
